Barnes and Noble Online Sales Drop
A decrease in online sales within the book industry is pretty hard to justify, especially for such a well branded name like Barnes and Noble. Nevertheless, B&N wants to blame Harry Potter for its continued website woes. You probably won’t hear much on this as the company’s overall profit shot up (despite sales declines in other areas). Investors should begin pressing B&N to come up with a solution for its online problems. This is an issue I’ve belabored in other posts on the blog.
